FAITH - FAMILY - FREEDOM

America the Beautiful

Descendant of Mayflower passenger, George Soule; escaped slave and ironworker that fought in the Revolution, David McQuitty; and Great-Grandnephew of renowned frontiersman, Daniel Boone; I could only hope to live up to a fraction of their extraordinary heroics and legacy in making America Great.

In late 1880's Tennessee, my 3rd Great-Grandfather, James Martin Harris, by horse and wagon, with family in tow, traversed to Indian Territory, Oklahoma enroute to the Pacific NW, settling in southwest Idaho. My Great-Uncle John Hansford Harris married his sweetheart Miss Laura Belle Joplin of Ada County, in 1897. My early pioneer ancestors (Harris, Bingman & Joplin) are all buried nearby at Joplin Cemetery in Eagle, Idaho.

A Call to Serve

While my ancestors settled here in Idaho back in the 1880's, I was born and raised in the 1980's, in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb northwest of Los Angeles. Tucked away along the mountains and called "Horse Country." My father was a police officer and my mother worked for the local school district. We went to church on Sundays. I played outdoors.

At 18 years old I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving as an infantry machine gunner, nuclear weapon security, and a military police officer. I maintained a SECRET level clearance throughout.

Higher Education

After serving for five years in the Marines, I was honorably discharged and immediately enrolled in college; where I began attending a private Christian school, Vanguard University of Southern California. There, I obtained my bachelor's degree in business; organizational management.

More recently, having completed the LSAT's, I'm currently awaiting enrollment at the University of Idaho, College of Law, where I hope to obtain my Juris Doctorate beginning next Fall.

Wedding Bells

Shortly after graduation, while attending church regularly in San Diego, I began to fall in love with a single mother of a four- year-old boy. Friends first, we tied the knot six months after we began our courtship. Best decision I could make!

My wife, Michelle, works for the Eagle Fire Department, where she has been for the past 5 years; helping coordinate Eagle Fun Days and their ever popular Open House. Our oldest son Avery, now sixteen, is working on obtaining his A.A. through CWI. Meanwhile, our younger two, Juliet (9) and Ezra (7), currently attend public school in West Ada.

Police Legacy

Having first moved to Boise, Idaho in the Spring of 2018, I continued my father's legacy of serving in law enforcement, joining the Boise Police Department. I graduated valedictorian of my academy class. After a short tenure, I resigned, and began home-schooling my children throughout 2020.

Soon, I made the move to education when I accepted the offer as Vice Principal of a private Christian school, previously hosted at our local church, here in the Treasure Valley. My wife and I were, also, serving voluntarily in ministry as youth leaders.

Meridian, Idaho

My hope is to continue to build a community that my children and their children will be proud of. I place great emphasis on servant leadership. We are very blessed to live in the Gem State! Idaho is Home. If re-elected, I will continue to put our community first. My family and I wish you well. God is good!
