While my ancestors settled here in Idaho back in the 1890's, I was raised in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb northwest of Los Angeles. Tucked away along the mountains known for orange groves and called "Horse Country." The backdrop for Hollywood western films. My father was a police officer and my mother worked for the local school district. We went to church on Sundays. I played outdoors.
At 18 years old I enlisted in the Marine Corps. I served as an infantry machine gunner, nuclear weapon security, military police officer and other duties of operations. I held a SECRET level clearance.
After five years in the Marine Corps, I enrolled in a private Christian school, Vanguard University of Southern California. There, I obtained my bachelor's degree in business; organizational management.
Shortly after graduation, I fell in love with a single mom in San Diego. Friends first, we tied the knot six months after we began our courtship. Best decision I could make.
Relocating to Boise, Idaho in Spring of 2018, I continued my father's legacy, joining the Boise Police Department. I graduated valedictorian of my academy class. After a short tenure, I resigned, and began home-schooling my three children. Later, serving as the Vice Principal of a private Christian school located here in the Treasure Valley.
My hope is to build a community that my children and their children will be proud of. We are very blessed to live in the Gem State! Idaho is Home. My family and I wish you well. God is good. "As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." - Joshua 24:15
